This was a full whole-house carpet job in Aubrey, TX - and it's exactly the kind of work we love doing. Every room, the staircase, the upstairs hallway - all of it needed fresh carpet. The old dark charcoal carpet had done its time. The homeowner wanted something cleaner, brighter, and more cohesive throughout the entire home.

Berber was the right call here. It's a tight, low-loop weave that holds up well in high-traffic areas - stairs, hallways, bedrooms - without showing wear the way a cut-pile carpet does. The neutral tone we installed ties every room together without competing with the wall colors or trim. That consistency is what makes a whole-house install feel intentional rather than pieced together.

The staircase was probably the most detail-oriented part of the job. Each step had to be cut, wrapped, and secured cleanly - and we protect the woodwork with tape and paper wrapping throughout the process so nothing gets dinged or scuffed during installation. That kind of care on the front end is what separates a clean finished product from one that just looks okay.

Room by room, the difference is night and day. What was dark and worn is now light and fresh. The Berber sits flat and even, the edges run tight to the baseboards, and the whole home just feels put together. That's what new carpet does - it pulls everything else in the room up with it.

If your floors are holding your home back, Berber carpet is worth a serious look. Durable, clean-looking, and available in tones that work with almost any interior - it's one of the most practical upgrades you can make room to room.
