Here's what we were working with - old flooring throughout an entire Arlington home that needed to go. Every room, every hallway, every square foot. When a job covers that much ground, prep work is everything. You can't just slap new planks down over a rough subfloor and call it a day. We stripped it all out and got the concrete clean before a single new plank touched the ground.

The installation process on a job this size takes real coordination. Our crew works room by room, laying out planks and locking them into place with care. The subfloor prep is the part most people never see - but it's the reason the finished floor looks and feels solid underfoot instead of hollow or uneven. We take that step seriously on every job.

What ended up coming together is a dark, rich laminate wood-look plank running consistently through the living room, bedrooms, hallway, kitchen, and even the laundry room. That kind of continuity throughout an entire home is what really makes the space feel pulled together. No mismatched transitions, no jarring breaks between rooms - just one clean, cohesive look from front to back.

Laminate is one of the best options for a full home floor replacement like this. It holds up well to daily traffic, it's easier to maintain than real hardwood, and the visual payoff is hard to beat. For Arlington homeowners looking to upgrade old or worn-out flooring without the cost of solid wood, this style and finish hits the sweet spot between durability and good looks.

This one was a big job and our team knocked it out right. The before-and-after difference in a home like this - going from stripped-down subfloor to fully finished planks throughout - is one of the most satisfying things we get to do. More finished photos coming soon.
