This Arlington home needed new floors throughout - every room, every hallway, even the bathroom vanity area. That kind of whole-home scope means there's no room to cut corners. The prep work has to be right, or nothing else holds up the way it should.

Before a single plank went down, we applied a membrane moisture sealer across the subfloor. This is a step a lot of installers skip because it adds time. We don't skip it. Moisture is one of the biggest reasons floors fail early, and a proper sealer is the simplest way to protect the investment the homeowner is making.

For the floors themselves, we used our 6.5mm 20mil Regent color hybrid flooring throughout. The 20mil wear layer is a big deal - it's what separates a floor that holds up under real daily life from one that starts showing scratches and wear in a couple of years. The thickness and density of this product also means it lays flat and feels solid underfoot, not hollow like cheaper options.

We finished every room with new baseboards, which ties the whole thing together cleanly. It's one of those details that makes the difference between a job that looks done and a job that looks done right. Every transition, every wall edge - clean cuts, tight fit.

The Regent color works across a wide range of interior styles, and this home is a good example. Living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, hallways - it all flows together without looking like an afterthought. Good prep and quality materials are what we bring to every job, and this one was no different.
