Here's what we were working with - old, worn-out VCT across multiple rooms, scuffed-up subfloors, and surfaces that had just seen too many years of daily foot traffic. A medical clinic in Waxahachie needed a full flooring overhaul, and that meant starting from scratch in every room.

Demo came first. We pulled up the old VCT throughout the space, cleared out the debris, and prepped each subfloor properly before anything new went down. That prep work matters more than most people realize. Skipping it - or rushing through it - is exactly how new flooring ends up failing early.

Once the subfloors were ready, we got to work. Vinyl plank went down in the main treatment and office areas, giving those rooms a clean, modern wood-look finish that holds up well in high-use commercial environments. Carpet tile went in through the hallways and smaller exam rooms - a smart choice for a clinic setting since individual tiles can be swapped out if a section ever gets damaged. The whole thing got tied together with a sharp black cove base that runs clean along every wall.

What makes a job like this work isn't just the materials - it's the coordination. Multiple room types, different flooring products, and transitions that all need to line up. That's where experience in commercial flooring installation really shows. Every zone of this clinic got the right product for what it actually needs to handle day in and day out.

The finished space looks sharp and functions the way a busy clinic should. Durable floors, easy to maintain, and a consistent look that runs from room to room. That's the goal every time.
