Here's what we were working with - bare concrete subfloors across multiple rooms, stripped down and ready to go. No carpet, no padding, nothing. That's actually the best starting point for a clean installation because there are no shortcuts being hidden under old material.

We installed plush carpet in three rooms and went with berber in the upstairs bedroom and on the stairs. Two different carpet types in one home isn't just a style choice - it's a practical one. Berber holds up better in high-traffic areas like stairs, while plush gives bedrooms that soft, comfortable feel underfoot that most people are after.

Stairs are honestly one of the trickier parts of any carpet job. Every tread and riser has to be wrapped and secured cleanly, edge to edge. When it's done right, the whole staircase looks sharp and the carpet stays put for years without shifting or bunching at the edges.

The finished rooms went from cold, rough subfloor to warm, finished living spaces. That shift makes a bigger difference than most people expect - not just visually, but in how a room actually feels to be in. Carpet adds comfort, absorbs sound, and makes a house feel like a home again.

This is the kind of multi-room residential carpet installation we do on a regular basis. Whether you need one room done or want to redo an entire floor - plush, berber, or something else entirely - we can walk you through your options and get it handled.
