Plush 60 oz Carpet and LVP Flooring Upgrade Across Multiple Rooms

Sometimes floors just hit a point where no amount of cleaning is going to fix them. That's exactly where this home was. The existing carpet had stains set deep into the fibers, worn-out texture, and that flat, tired look you can't ignore. It was time to go a different direction entirely.

We pulled everything out - old carpet, padding, all of it - and started fresh. The family room got LVP installed wall to wall. It's a light, natural wood-look finish that completely opens up the space. With the dark wood crown molding, coffered ceiling, and built-in cabinetry already in the room, the new floor ties everything together without competing with it.

For the bedrooms, hallways, and upper-level rooms, we went with a plush 60 oz carpet. That weight matters. It's noticeably softer underfoot, holds its texture better over time, and gives those spaces a clean, finished feel that thinner carpet just can't match. We ran it through the hallways too, keeping everything consistent from room to room.

What made this one a bit more involved was the scope. Multiple rooms, different flooring types, a curved staircase landing, and tight hallways all on the same job.
