Master Bedroom Mohawk Carpet and Laundry Room LVT Floor Upgrade

This was a multi-room flooring job - two very different spaces, two very different materials, one clean result. We tackled the master bedroom carpet and the laundry room floor in the same visit, and both rooms came out looking sharp.

In the master bedroom, we pulled everything out and started fresh with Mohawk carpet over a quality pad. Mohawk is a name we trust. It holds up well, feels great underfoot, and comes in tones that work with almost any interior. We also updated the baseboards while we were at it, because new carpet next to beat-up trim is a shortcut we don't take. The room went from worn-out to genuinely comfortable.

The laundry room was a different story. That floor needed to go. We stripped it down to the subfloor, cleaned it up properly, and laid new LVT with a marble-look finish. Laundry rooms take a beating - water, dirt, heavy appliances. LVT handles all of that without complaining. It's also a lot easier to clean than carpet, which matters in a utility space.

What we like about jobs like this is that the upgrade isn't just cosmetic. Fresh carpet in a bedroom changes how the room actually feels when you walk in. Durable LVT in a laundry room means you're not worrying about water damage or staining down the road. These are practical improvements that hold their value.
