Here's a job that covered just about every area of the house - living rooms, hallways, stairs, and more. The old carpet was worn down and past its prime. You could see the subfloor and old padding exposed in multiple spots, which tells you the previous carpet had been there a long time. The baseboards were in similar shape. It was a full reset.

We went with 60oz Mohawk carpet for this one. The 60oz refers to the face weight - basically how much fiber is packed into each square yard of carpet. More fiber means a denser, more durable pile that holds up better under daily foot traffic and feels noticeably thicker underfoot. For a home this size, it was the right call.

The stairs were one of the more involved parts of the install. Getting carpet to sit clean and tight on every tread and riser takes real attention to detail. Same goes for the hallways - narrow spaces where the edges have to land perfectly against fresh baseboards. New baseboards were installed throughout, and that finishing touch makes a huge difference in how polished everything looks when it's all said and done.

The living areas came out exactly how you'd want them to. The carpet lays flat and even, the color ties the whole space together, and the clean baseboard lines give every room a finished look. It's the kind of job where every room you walk into feels noticeably different from what it was before - quieter, softer, and just cleaner overall.

This is what a full residential carpet installation looks like when it's done right. Multiple rooms, multiple surfaces, all tied together with quality material and solid craftsmanship. No shortcuts on the prep, no cutting corners on the finish work.
