This was a big one. A large brick home - multiple bedrooms, hallways, a staircase, and an upstairs landing - all needing new carpet. The old flooring was dated and worn, and the goal was a clean, cohesive look throughout the entire upper level. We laid 145 yards of berber carpet in a single day. That's a lot of ground to cover, and we covered every bit of it.

Berber is one of those carpet styles that tends to get overlooked, but it's a smart choice for high-traffic areas. The tight loop construction holds up well over time, it doesn't show footprints the way plush carpet does, and the neutral tones work with just about any interior. For a home this size - with multiple rooms connecting to shared hallways and a staircase - consistency across all the spaces really matters.

The staircase is where carpet installations can get tricky. Every tread and riser has to be cut and wrapped cleanly, or the whole thing looks sloppy. We took the time to get each step right. The result is a tight, uniform fit from the bottom step all the way to the top landing - no bunching, no gaps, no exposed edges.

The bedrooms came out sharp too. Each room got the same care and attention as the next. Seams were planned to keep them as inconspicuous as possible, and the carpet was stretched properly so there's no risk of buckling or rippling down the road. Fresh berber in a bright room with good natural light - it just looks right. Clean, simple, and built to last.

Jobs like this are exactly what we do. Whether it's one room or an entire home, we approach every installation the same way - with the right material, the right technique, and enough crew on site to get it done efficiently without cutting corners.
