12mm Hybrid Flooring Installed in Duncanville Master Bedroom and Closet

Here's what we were working with - worn, stained carpet in a master bedroom and walk-in closet that had clearly run its course. The bedroom carpet was flattened and tired, and the closet carpet had dark staining near the doorway. It was time for something better.

Before we laid a single plank, we checked the concrete slab for moisture. We use a Tramex meter to get an accurate reading right at the surface. This step matters more than most people realize. Moisture trapped under a floor that wasn't designed to handle it can cause planks to warp, buckle, or separate over time. Skipping that check is how floors fail early.

Once we confirmed the slab was ready, we got to work installing 12mm hybrid flooring in a 9-inch by 72-inch plank format. The wide, long planks give the bedroom a clean, open feel - and they flow right through into the closet without missing a beat. The continuity from room to closet is one of those details that just makes the whole space feel intentional.

The finished master bedroom has a completely different energy now. The hybrid flooring sits flush against the baseboards, the layout runs straight and tight, and the warm wood tone works well against the sage green walls. The closet got the same treatment - clean lines wall to wall, right up under the built-in cabinetry. No shortcuts, even in the spaces people don't always think about.
